Agua de Pepino (Cucumber Lime Agua Fresca)

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 600 g cucumber, peeled if desired, chopped
  • 100 g sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1200 ml cold water
  • 60 ml lime juice (from about 2 limes)
  • fresh mint leaves (optional, when blending)

Instructions

  1. Blend the cucumber with about half of the water until smooth.
  2. Strain if you prefer a clearer drink; otherwise leave as is.
  3. Stir in the sugar until dissolved, then add the remaining water and lime juice.
  4. Taste and adjust sugar or lime. For extra depth, blend in a few mint leaves.
  5. Chill well before serving. Keeps in the refrigerator for 2–3 days.
