Serves: 12

Ingredients

  • 330 g flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 170 g tepid water
  • 3 tbsp canola oil

Filling

  • 800 g minced meat
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 heaping tsp salt
  • 1 level tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • pinch chili
  • 0.5 bunch parsley

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt in stand mixer, slowly drizzle water and canola oil.
  2. Knead for 2 minutes in stand mixer and 2 minutes by hand.
  3. Cover with oil and let rest for 45 minutes.

Filling

  1. Add spices to minced meat, knead with hand, and form into balls of around 60-70g.
  2. Take dough, shape into rounds a little larger than the meatballs.
  3. Tuck in the edges from below, form into balls, and then flatten with a rolling pin.
  4. In a non-stick pan, slowly fry and turn over often for around 8-10 minutes.
