Hummus

Ingredients

  • 225 g chickpeas
  • 60 ml water
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 60 ml tahini
  • 5.625 ml lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1.125 g kosher salt
  • 2.25 g ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Drain and dry the chickpeas. Keep the liquid for other recipes. Place chickpeas, water, olive oil, tahini, lime juice, garlic, salt, and cumin in a food processor.
  2. Process for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Add any additional flavorings like roasted red pepper.
  4. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.
