Mushroom Shawarma

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 320 g maple syrup
  • 15.0 ml mushroom stock essence
  • 15.0 ml lime juice
  • 21.0 g molasses

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.
  2. Season mushrooms with schwarma spice mix and roast for 40 minutes.
  3. Prepare glaze with maple syrup, mushroom stock essence, lime juice, and molasses.
  4. Glaze roasted mushrooms and skewer them.
  5. Grill skewered mushrooms until caramelized.
  6. Assemble mushrooms in Turkish flatbread with tahini cream and Sriracha chili sauce.
