Smoked Almonds

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 cup whole almonds, with skins
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Pour cooking oil over almonds in a bowl. Toss to coat well. Spread on an ungreased baking sheet.
  2. Bake in a 135°C oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and pour nuts into a medium bowl.
  3. Sprinkle with liquid smoke. Toss to coat well.
  4. Mix flour and salt in a cup. Sprinkle over almonds. Toss to coat well.
  5. Spread on the same baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool.
